Gone are the days when the government job was considered to be a criteria for selecting the bridegroom. But it still has its own value apart from the attractive salary, pension and P.F benefits. Today private employee's earn 100% more than the government servant and to many extent he has to strive hard to sustain his job whereas the govenment job for a public servant is more secured when compared to the private employee. I wonder these days after watching so many current scenarios that why the public servants are not ready to do their allocated work and ask people to bribe. We(incuding me) never agitated against this and whatever done by few people like Anna Hazare remains unnoticed. The common man never raise his voice on this issue since he has to face this government servant again and again for his so many needs starting from birth certificate to death certificate. If atleast they do 75 % of their allocated work that will be seriously a dramatic change in the side of administration and lot of changes could be predictable in our society. I know that they are many public servants like my grand father and father who were devoted to their work. That again is a very less quantity and it cannot make any drastic changes and this has to be implemented right from the grass root level. The morality among the mind set of the people has to be triggered right from their childhood and untill then the current scene continues..
