Two news took over my thoughts yesterday and they are

The first incident is a 10 year girl being molested in Mumbai and the second one is the CM of Andhra Pradesh making personal comments about the former CM in the house in full public view.

This incident will be a nightmare for her till her death. Her cry shows her physical pain and mental agony. I am really worried about the bad impact this will have on her future. It will take a long time for her to come out of this. There are lot of incidents happening like this in our country and many of them are unnoticed. I do not know what pleasure guys get in molesting girls. I pray God that she should get the strength to come out from this.

The second incident shows that when a person cannot think logically to defend his opponent then they start making personal comments. The mentality of the people will remain the same inspite of their levels in the society. If we hate someone to the maximum extent we find some pleasure by abusing them. This scenario is everywhere but a man in a high decorum should be careful in what he speaks and what he does before the public. I could only say that he has defamed himself.

When we consume certain goods we see warnings like:

These are statutory warnings and it paves the way for them to escape legally when they are asked upon. So what will happen in future if the current scenario continues and reaches its extreme level.

2. In restaurant -

Many people have asked me the following questions and when they hear my response they become nuts and feel like bashing me.

Question: Hey D.....What kind of movies you like?? How often do you go to theatres to watch movies?

Me: I like all . I do not have a specific choice. Hmm..Well I never go to theatres to watch movies. As far as I know I have never craved to watch any movies in theatres. If at all anyone compels(precisely threatens) me to come with them, then after a long hesitation I accompany them. I have watched only 9 films in theatres in my 25 years of lifespan. Majority of them were english films which I watched with my dad. My highest record is in the year 2006 when I watched three films in a day in Sathyam because of my friend Nithya (She is a movie freak).

Question: What will you do if you really like to watch a film. Would you try to watch??

Me: Yes. Of course. I will watch it when they telecast it in television. :-)

Question: WHAT????(Dumb) Ok. Which hero, heroine you like very much?

Me: I love all . Hate none. I dnt have a specific liking on anyone. If any of them acts very well then I never hesitate to compliment them.

Finally they end up saying, 'You are really weird and stoic. You dnt watch movies. You are not a music freak. I do not know what else you do in your life. Weird soul...hush hush'.

Isn't it strange how a 20 rupee note seems like such a large amount when you give for alms but such a small amount when you go shopping?

Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're talking to your parents, and how short they seem when you're with your lover?

Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say to your parents, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with your lover?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?


Isn't it strange how we call and talk to friends and send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away, but when we want to talk or write a letter to our parents, we think about it twice.

Isn't it strange when we deceive others we always have a reason for it and when others deceive us we try cursing them for it.


Isn't it strange when we want others to hear our words and we never try to lend an ear to what they say.


Isn't it strange we always want others to love us and we never try to show the least care towards them.

Dnt know whether this can be called as a true love or not. She sticked to the decision she made and thats what makes me to admire her. We see people change their minds in seconds. In one way she resembles me. Whenever I need to take a decision on anything I used to be like a cat on the wall but once I make the decision I will stick to it not matter whatever may befall. I pray that their relationship should be smooth always.

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track.
The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the disused track and save most of the kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make................

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess. Exactly, I thought the same way initially because to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally. But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?
Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.
The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's sirens. If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.
While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.
