DISCLAIMER:
Today everything comes with a tag, disclaimer or warning attached.
We watch shows, serial, movies or any advertisements and it starts with a disclaimer.
'This story(movie, play) and the characters in this story(serial, movie) doesnt resemble any one living or dead. If it is any way related to any one living or dead it is purely coincidental'
[OR]
'This stunt is performed by a trained expert. Do not try it at home.'
[OR]
'Children should not try this on their own. They should do it only with adult guidance'
When we consume certain goods we see warnings like:
'Cigarette smoking is injurious to health' (I could not find anything better than this :-)
[OR]
'Drinking is not good for health' ( Or Kudi kudiyai kedukum )
These are statutory warnings and it paves the way for them to escape legally when they are asked upon. So what will happen in future if the current scenario continues and reaches its extreme level.
1. Disclaimer by God when a child is born-
Child will be born with a tag attached:
'You are giving birth to this child at your own risk. Later on you should not complain on me(though it is your fault) that why God has given me such a useless child'
2. In restaurant -
'You are eating at your own risk. If you find any lizard, cockrach or any other things living or dead in any item which we serve it is purely coincidental and it is not our fault. '
3. In a hotel-
'You are staying at your own risk. If the building collapses or the waiter slaps it is purely coincidental and the hotel authorities are not responsible for it. You should deal with them individually'
4. In office-
Employer disclaimer:
'You are working at your own risk. You hereby agree that you will work as long as the employer permits and you accept to get whatever he pays.'
Employees disclaimer:
'You are employing me at your own risk. If I run away with all the things in the office or If I misappropriate the funds , it is purely coincidental and I am not liable for it'
5. In temple-
Disclaimer by God:
'You are worshipping at your own risk. If I do not fulfill your wishes or if it goes otherwise its is purely coincidental'
6.In school-
Teacher's disclaimer:
'You are learning at your own risk. If you are enlightened then we are responsible for it and your ignorance increases then it is purely coincidental'
Students disclaimer:
'You are teaching us at your own risk. If we break your head through duster it is purely coincidental'.
7. In aeroplane-
'You are travelling at your own risk. If the plane crashes then it is purely coincidental and we wish you happy journey next time'
8. In Banks-
'You are depositing at your own risk. If we run away with all the money then it is purely coincidental'
The list will go on and on . And now since we have come to the end I would like to say..
'YOU READ THE ABOVE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!! AND IF YOU BANG YOUR HEAD NOW FOR READING THIS I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE'
:-)

Isn't it strange how a 20 rupee note seems like such a large amount when you give for alms but such a small amount when you go shopping?
Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're talking to your parents, and how short they seem when you're with your lover?
Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say to your parents, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with your lover?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?
Isn't it strange how we call and talk to friends and send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away, but when we want to talk or write a letter to our parents, we think about it twice.
Isn't it strange when we deceive others we always have a reason for it and when others deceive us we try cursing them for it.
Isn't it strange when we want others to hear our words and we never try to lend an ear to what they say.
Isn't it strange we always want others to love us and we never try to show the least care towards them.

The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the disused track and save most of the kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make................
.......
Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess. Exactly, I thought the same way initially because to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally. But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?
Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.
The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's sirens. If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.
While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.
"Remember that what's right isn't always popular... and what's popular isn't always right.

Too often we don't realize
What we have until it's gone.
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."
Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
We hold dearest to our hearts.
And we allow foolish things
To tear our lives apart.
Far too many times we let
Unimportant things into our minds.
And then it's usually too late
To see what made us blind.
o be sure that you let people know
How much they mean to you.
Take that time to say the words
Before your time is through.
Be sure that you appreciate
Everything you've got.
And be thankful for the little things in life...that mean a lot.

Though it has been three years since you passed away I still feel that you are somewhere around me.
Nature has proved it again that 'DEATH IS IMMORTAL'.

Since these days I spend a lot with myself and loneliness hits me hard I love these lines in the voice of Amitab Bachan.
mein aur meri tanhayi
aksar yeh baatein karte hai
tum hoti to kaisa hota
tum yeh kehti tum woh kehti
tum is baat pe hairan hoti
tum us baat pe kitni hasti
tum hoti to aisa hota
tum hoti to waisa hota
mein aur meri tanhaye aksar baatein karte hai....
yeh sochta hoon mein kabse gumsum
ki jabki mujhko bhi yeh khabar hai tum nahi ho kahi nahi ho
magar yeh dil hai ki keh raha hai tum yahi ho yahi kahi ho
majboor yeh haalat idhar bhi hai udhar bhi
tanhayi ki ek raat idhar bhi hai udhar bhi
kehne ko bahot kuch hai magar kisse kahe hum
kab tak yu hi khamosh rahe aur sahe hum
dil kehta hai duniya ki har ek rasm utha de
deewar jo hum dono mein hai aaj gira de
kyon dil mein sulaghte rahe logo ko bata de
haan humko mohabbar hai mohabbbat hai mohabbat
ab dil mein yahi baat idhar bhi hai udhar bhi
